These bees are kept at Sale Animal Sanctuary, a wildlife haven. The taste is influenced by the delicate nectar of early spring Willow and lime trees and the later blossoms of wildflowers that gracefully blanket the Mersey's banks. This is the people's favourite honey during tasting events, described as ‘exactly what you think honey should be. It is a light orange colour, mid consistency with pleasant citrus and floral aftertaste.
