Love this Heather Honey during an illness. Convinced it reduced the time i was ill. Not as sweet as shop bought as its real. Mixed in warm water to make a soothing drink.

This honey has proven its cold fighting power to me. The taste is middle range and not sickly sweet like shop bought honey. This is my favourite for taste and health kick

This honey actually made me feel better when I had the flu. We all can tell when a temperature or cold symptoms subsides. This happened within hours. Not gone completely but enough to notice. Never saw any benefits from Manuka. But Scottish Heather proved to me the quality of this honey.

Again not tried this yet either, but as before I can only imagine that it is sublime! Again can’t say enough about this company! Every thing that I have had from them has been superb!!!! I love this raw honey I have a cupboard stocked of all different flavours 2 jars of Scottish heather, avocado honey, raw oak, bee pollen acacia eucalyptus honey and also the infused turmeric and ginger honey!

First of all I REGRET not buying the full soft set wildflower honey I bought a taster jar.. had it on hot toast with butter and OMG it is amazing… will definitely be buying the full jar… the other honeys are also amazing I used them in hot drinks

A Stunning Fragrant & Potent Honey
Our pure Scottish Heather Honey is a new 2021 addition to our range! Expertly foraged from resilient heather plants that cover the Scottish hills and countryside, this honey awakens the taste buds with its aromatic flavour and slightly bitter aftertaste. Known for its antibacterial and antimicrobial properties this honey rivals manuka in terms of medicinal use and content. It has a thicker viscous-like consistency than our other varieties along with being raw, natural and unpasteurised just like our other varieties.
Never heated above the temperature of the hives, it is full-bodied and packed full of goodness including antibacterial and antimicrobial properties along with high levels of antioxidants.
Some of the other plants the bees feed from include: Beech, Copper, Bluebell, Sycamore, Horse Chestnut, Hawthorn, Holly, Elder, Broad & Field bean, Raspberry, Poppy, Clover, Asparagus, Dogwood and Wild honeysuckle. This huge variation of flowering plants gives it a unique taste with depth and added health benefits!
*Scottish Heather is notoriously difficult to harvest. Therefore we will only have a very limited amount each season.
Uses
Great for coughs and sore throats, we have had so many customers tell us how they use it in a hot drink with lemon and ginger! It is also great on some toast or in some warm porridge and beautiful in a light herbal tea.
