Pilea glaucophylla 'Greyzy' in 6 cm pot

Commonly and fondly referred to as 'Silver Sparkles'.  It is difficult to know where to start with the glaucophylla 'Greyzy' as it is such a versatile and rewarding must have plant.  The delicate, trailing stems which can reach up to a meter in length, look so at home spilling over the side of a pot on a shelf or hanging from a planter.  Native to the tropical rain forests of central and south America this plant thrives on humidity.  It has a petite habit and small clusters of grey-green leaves which make it an ideal candidate for terrariums and paludariums.  Wherever you choose to place this plant it will be sure to look at home.  The Pilea glaucophylla prefers moist soil and bright, indirect sunlight to partial shade.
