Common names include Strawberry Begonia, Creeping Saxifrage and Strawberry Geranium. Native to China, Japan and Korea.
This beautiful trailing houseplant features delicate, rounded variegated leaves with green centres and white to pinky red margins with purple undersides. White flowers appear in the Spring through to early summer.
The Saxifraga stolonifera 'Variegata' requires bright to indirect light. Avoid prolonged periods of direct sunlight but a little direct sunlight will encourage those beautiful colours in the leaf to stand out. Water when the top of soil begins to dry and do not allow the roots to sit in water. Try not to underwater as this will cause significant leaf drop.
