Product description
A flowering almond tree with excellent crops of sweet nuts and springtime blossom. With an ornamental design, 'Robijn' offers fresh and long-lasting interest in the garden.
In spring, a flurry of light pink flowers scatter across the tree, releasing a soft aroma and pleasing pollinators. The tree is spreading in nature and boasts an excellent resistance to common issues, such as peach leaf curl.
The bare root tree is grafted onto a peach rootstock, and once in the ground should start cropping after just two years, with the best yields coming from the third year, and onwards. Almonds boast an earthy and nutty flavour, and are also incredibly good for you, being rich in healthy fats, antioxidants, vitamins and more!
This self-fertile tree does not need to be planted near other varieties to produce almonds, although pollination will be improved by placing multiple alongside one-another.
Supplied as a bare root almond tree, on a semi-dwarfing rootstock.
