The efficient All Pond Solutions External Aquarium Filter system utilises a multi-stage approach to filtration.

Filtering aquarium tank water through 3 internal layered baskets for the 1000EF and 1400EF models 4 layered baskets for the 2000EF model filled with assorted filter media material, it provides extremely thorough biological, mechanical and chemical filtration.

Each model is supplied with ceramic rings, bio balls, active carbon (1000EF model), coarse foam (1400EF & 2000EF models) and fine filter foam.

These filters are ideal for larger volume tanks.

How Does It Work?

Each External Filter in our range operates exactly the same way as our internal powerhead filter but are designed to be positioned outside of your tank. Each unit draws water into the filter through an inlet tube and returns crystal clear water via an outlet tube (both supplied)
