Various mix - possible rooted / top strands -- Rooted Plants: These come with roots and can be planted straight into the substrate. Top Strands: These are rootless top cuttings, these plants root into the substrate and grow towards the surface. Best planted in bunches.
Some plants red in particular require VERY BRIGHT lighting – aquarium lighting is graded as follows: Under 500 lux = LOW / 500 – 1000 lux = MEDIUM / 1000 – 1500 lux = BRIGHT / 1500+ lux = VERY BRIGHT
Rinse the plants in clean water. Trim back old brown roots/stems to healthy white tissue with a sharp knife. Remove any decaying or yellow leaves. Gently push the root stock/strands into the substrate with your fingers and firming with gravel. Root cuttings can be wrapped together to produce natural looking clumps.
