Product description
The artist was inspired to create a series of twelve paintings, each dedicated to a specific month of the year, incorporating subjects and colours that evoke personal associations with each month.
This particular painting is the eighth in the series. When reflecting on summer, the artist is immediately drawn to the colour "green"—the lush green fields, hills, and trees that define the season. For this reason, one of the summer still life works was devoted to this colour, which happens to be the artist’s favourite. The simplicity of daisies, a flower that could easily be overlooked, became the focal point of this piece. Daisies do not demand attention with bold colours; they can grow in the most ordinary places, often going unnoticed by those rushing past. However, when given the chance to pause and observe, their subtle charm becomes undeniably captivating.
The artist believes that in the hustle of daily life, we often overlook the beauty surrounding us. We become too absorbed in our thoughts or busy routines to truly appreciate the miraculous nature of existence. This painting serves as a gentle reminder to stop and observe the world around us: whether it’s a simple flower like a daisy, the room you’re in, the sky outside, or the faces of those you encounter. It is in these moments of quiet attention that the profound beauty of life reveals itself.
