Our dark wholemeal rye flour is sometimes referred to as pumpernickel flour and can be used to produce a dense, rich bread with fruit undertones.

Rye flour comes in a variety of shades including light, medium and dark, the darker the shade of rye flour the higher the amount of bran and germ is present and the rye flavour is more intense.
