Used this starter within two days and made my first yummy sourdough bread, it’s fantastic stuff! I don’t have the patience to make my own starter, so why stress myself when Charlotte has a fab one ready to send out! The instruction card was so handy, I followed it to the letter and it was perfect!

Product description
You will receive a 30g pot of fresh sourdough starter or 10g pouch of dehydrated starter to get started baking straight away. The starter you will receive is from the British Sourdough “Spotty Lotty” and will be ready for baking after 1-2 feeds.
Full instructions will be included so you know how to get started straight away.
The starter is a white flour starter and is made using “Marriage’s Strong White Bread Flour”
In preparation of will need a you will need a push top glass jar (500ml-850ml appx size, bread flour and filtered water). These will enable you to get started straight away and make bread at home. Please do not order if you will not be ready to feed it when it arrives.
Due to the starter being an active sourdough starter it may leak from the pot during transport. The starter is placed in a tamper proof pot and is then placed in a food safe bag. If the starter leaks from the pot into the bag during transport this is fine and not grounds for a refund. This is actually a positive and shows the starter is incredibly active. On receiving your starter you will need to transfer it to a clean jar and feed it as per the instructions included.
