You can take the caps off, I can see the caps getting lost at some point due to it being pinged off.

I took the chain off and just use it as a fidget toy tbh. Its like a real keyboard with loud clicks, and the caps can come off to make a quieter click when it starts annoying the rest of the house 🤣
