COLOURING AND IMAGE QUALITY: Its important to understand we ONLY use edible inks and edible icing sheets/paper, due to the edible nature of the products its not always possible to get the exact colourings perfect. for example magenta pinks, turquoise blues and purples dont always print as the color is seen. they can vary in shade so If you are particular about the colourings of your print you will need to contact me before purchasing to check this as we will work orders already placed assuming you understand the above.

Quality of photo print - we can only print a good quality photo if a good quality photo is provided to us, so please be careful and consider this before sending through your images, there are no magic buttons we can press to alter an old or pixelated image.. to avoid this please DONT send screen shots, old images, non digital images, photos that have been taken of other photos etc. for a nice quality image you will need to send through JPEG, PNG OR high quality resolution images only. if we receive any orders of old images or screen shots we will work your order based on you knowing this information above.

Using your prints-

Icing sheets- come pre cut to shape and you can then remove the WAX backing once ready to apply to your bakes as the backing is NOT edible.

PLEASE NOTE: Our Icing sheets are thinner to create a better print finish result.. During Hot and more Humid weather can cause the icing sheets to become more soft and harder to remove from the WAX backing.

TIP- cut your icing to shape (if required) and place them into the freezer for 30mins. Take them out one at a time and give it a test (you may want to place a blank piece of icing in the freezer that you may normally throw away from your cuttings) if your sheets are still slightly to soft, leave them a little longer until your happy! Try not to pull on the icing sheets, but rather peel the WAX backing away. (you can find lots of useful tips online by googling '' how to remove icing from ITS BACKING'' thank you.

-Applying to fondant/icing ·

Once cut and removed from the wax backing.Applying the toppers couldn’t be easier, slightly dampen your icing on cake with a very small amount of water (less is more) and apply evenly.

-Applying to buttercream

Once cut and removed from the wax backing you can simply apply these straight to butter cream, or for more of a professional finish apply to fondant/icing first and cut to shape for more stability as if placing directly to cupcakes then they icing sheets may flop. If using coloured buttercream, I would recommend applying to fondant/icing first to stop the coloured buttercream bleeding through to image, Not for use with double cream/fresh cream toppings.

Wafer cards –

Each topper will come pre cut to shape. These are not backed on to any paper so can be applied straight to cakes. ·

Applying the toppers – use a small amount of water for light dampening when applying to an iced cake, this is essential as wafer cards can crinkle if too much water is used!

Applying straight to buttercream – You can simply pop these toppers straight on to buttercream although if using coloured buttercream, I would recommend applying to rolled fondant/icing first to stop any colour bleed from the buttercream.

· PLEASE NOTE COLOURS WILL RUN IF WATER IS MISS PLACED ON THE FRONT FACE OF EDIBLE PRINTS.

Not for use on fresh cream!

Storage + Shelf life: Keep stored in sealed bags provided, in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight (do not refrigerate) Edible icing sheets once printed should be consumed within 2 months.

Icing sheet Ingredients: Water, Starch (maize) Dried Glucose Syrup, Humectant: Glycerine, Sweetener: Sorbitol, Colour: Titanium Dioxide, Vegetable Oil (rapeseed), Thickener: Cellulose, Emulsifier: Polysorbate 80, Suitable for : VEGAN, VEGETARIAN, KOSHER SHEETS!

Wafer Card ingredients: 

Potato Starch, Water, Sunflower Oil, Maltodextrin

Edible Ink:

YELLOW : Water, Glycerol E422, Tartrazine E102 (1.5%) Presevrative: 1.2Propandiol E1520, Citric Acid E330

MAGENTA: Water, Glycerol E422, Azourubine E122 (2.2%) Ponceau Red 4R E124 (0.9%) Preservative: 1.2 Propandiol E1520 Citric Acid E330
