What exactly is ‘Coconut Cream’?

This product is made of 100% dried coconut flesh, which is ground for a long time. When you first open the jar or tub, you may well wonder why this is called ‘cream’, when what you see is (in most cases) rock solid! However, place a small piece in your mouth and resist the urge to chew, and you will soon find that it simply melts, leaving no residue, just like chocolate. Placing a chunk of it in a bowl and microwave it for a FEW seconds and you will soon get a silky-smooth white … cream!
