A Must Have Collection for the Winter Months
After receiving many questions on our livestreams about which honeys are best for coughs, colds, sore throats etc we have put together this Winter Wellness collection!
In this honey collection we have our Wild Mountain, Scottish Heather and Eucalyptus varieties, all of which are known to have amazing natural properties such as propolis, antimicrobial, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory along with an array of vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
Our raw mountain honey has a lovely, mild caramel foretaste, which opens into a tropical floral aroma and finishes by settling into a slight burnt sugar bitterness. Finishes with an aftertaste reminiscent of tea tannin.
A 1 star Great Taste Award winner for 2021 with one of the judges commenting:
"Caramel notes are apparent here and it leaves a distinctive, rustic, old fashioned taste. Of rich colour, it has a thick but spreadable consistency."
Our Scottish Heather honey is expertly foraged from resilient heather plants that cover the Scottish hills and countryside, this honey awakens the taste buds with its aromatic flavour and slightly bitter aftertaste. Known for its antibacterial and antimicrobial properties this honey rivals manuka in terms of medicinal use and content. It has a thicker viscous-like consistency than our other varieties along with being raw, natural and unpasteurised just like our other varieties.
Our stunning Eucalyptus honey is a delightful addition to our range. Harvested from the nectar of the blossoming Eucalyptus tree (which is similar to the manuka) that is adored by the honeybee and equally loved by humans. Eucalyptus honey is a variety with a unique composition. It contains traces of eucalyptol which gives it a fresh revitalising taste. The perfect honey for coughs, colds and sore throats. Another Great Taste award winner impressing the judges with its depth in flavour.

Uses
With their lovely rich malty flavours these honeys are great for using in cakes, flapjacks, granola and some marinades. Many customers have also recommended them on toast and in porridge!
*If you choose our gift wrap set we are meticulous with our wrapping and use a luxury wrapping paper and gold ribbon, finished off with our company tag.
Store at ambient temperatures away from direct sunlight.
