Your house number will be by default printed using a state of the art UV-Cured Outdoor Stable Ink (bright white in colour and completely weatherproof). This is far superior to Laser Engraving or Etching. The colour is guaranteed to stay vivid and bright and will still be legible in the rain.

If you do prefer the item to be Laser Engraved / Etched instead then please let us know at checkout via a note. We can offer all options, Though we strongly advise against Laser Engraving for natural slate as customers are often disappointed by how poorly the marking contrast is, especially when text is very faint in the rain. Naturally Treated, this gives the slate a beautiful an all year round wet look appearance, enhancing the natural colours in the slate and enhancing the rustic edge. Your door plaque will come with pre-drilled screw holes, & the correct screw fixings and screw caps that mean you have all the correct fixing for an easy install, comprehensive instructions also provided.
