Our wonderful Raw Greek Fir Honey is harvested from the wild forests of central Greece. It is known as a honeydew, because the bees feed off the sap and resin of the tree rather than from the nectar. Honeydews are high in oligosaccharides, which are known for their prebiotic qualities, aiding digestion and promoting gut health. This honey has a strong, robust taste with hints of woodsy and pine flavours, and a slightly caramel aftertaste.
Ingredients: 100% Raw Honey
Storage: Store at room temperature. If crystallisation occurs, place jar in warm water.
Packaging. All Balqees honey is packaged in recyclable glass jars.
Country of origin: Greece
Raw Honey is a natural product therefore the colour and texture may vary depending on the season and level of crystallisation.
