Installation is a five-minute jobCan be done by any adult!
There is aninstructions sheetin every SocketLoc package we send out, and the instructions are a simple affair:
Snap offthe 2x keys and 2x cable hole covers from the back of the SocketLoc;
Loosenscrews on your plug socket by approx. 4mm;
Slidethe backplate in behind the socket. Ensure the screw locator fits around the screw and the backplates overlap before re-tightening;
Close accessto the plug socket by securing the cover on the open side, ensuring both locks have clicked into place.

The NHS called for the recall of plug socket inserts due to safety issues surrounding the more commonly used and cheaply made 'socket inserts', stating:
•13A electrical socket insertsshould not be usedin health or social premises,nor supplied for use in a home or residence;
•Any socket inserts currently in use should bewithdrawn and responsibly disposed of.
