Nitty Gritty Pre-Wash & Degreaser is a powerful multi-purpose cleaner designed to tackle the toughest grime and contamination on a variety of surfaces. Our non-caustic formulation is safe to use on delicate finishes, yet strong enough to break down bonds holding grime and soiling contaminates together.
Use Nitty Gritty as a pre-wash to effectively remove road grime, bug splatters, and other contaminants from your vehicle's exterior. It can also be used as an all-purpose cleaner (APC) for areas such as engine bays, door shuts, and wheel arches.
Our unique blend of surfactants cuts through thick grime and grease, making for a more efficient cleaning routine. Nitty Gritty can be diluted to suit your cleaning needs, from a strength of 1:10 up to 1:200. It can be applied with a trigger spray, pump sprayer, or foam lance. Simply allow a contact time of 2-3 minutes (shorter in warmer temperatures), and then pressure rinse or wipe off with a microfibre cloth.
As a detailer, you can trust Nitty Gritty Pre-Wash & Degreaser to power through grime and contamination, while still being safe to use on delicate surfaces.
To use Nitty Gritty Pre-Wash & Degreaser, first dilute the product to the desired strength depending on the level of cleaning needed. The recommended dilution ratios are as follows:
•Light cleaning: 1:10 to 1:50
•Medium cleaning: 1:50 to 1:100
•Heavy cleaning: 1:100 to 1:200
Once diluted, apply the product using a trigger spray, pump sprayer, or foam lance. For best results, allow a contact time of 2-3 minutes (shorter in warmer temperatures) before pressure rinsing or wiping off with a microfibre cloth.
It's important to not allow the product to dry on the surface, as this can cause streaking or residue. After rinsing, be sure to thoroughly dry the surface to prevent any water spots.
