Teapigs Decaf English Breakfast Teabgs – Abraca-decaf!
The wait is finally over! That's right, we've only gone and made a decaf black tea.Using only the best black tea leaves from Kenya and Ceylon, we've created a black tea with the same rich and malty flavour as a proper builder’s brew, but just without the caffeine. But 'how much caffeine is in decaf tea?'and 'how is decaf tea made?'we hear you ask.Our black tea leaves are decaffeinated using the CO2 method to naturally decaffeinate them, which leaves less than 2% of caffeine in these decaf tea leaves. This really is the best decaf black tea, and now you can enjoy the British favourite that is black tea at any time time of day... even before bed!
How to brew teapigs decaf black tea bags: pop a decaf tea bag in your favourite mug and brew with boiling water for 3-5 minutes (or longer for a stronger malty and refreshing flavour). These little temples of decaf tea leaves can be made your way, add milk and sugar to compliment that malty flavour and create a sweeter brew, or drink this decaf black tea simply by itself to enjoy the full range of flavours this black tea has to offer.
When to drink decaffeinated tea bags.Morning, noon or night, this blend is perfect for anytime of day, and given that this black tea has more than 98% if its caffeine removed, you can drink these decaf tea bags right through to the evening without worrying about bedtime. But, if you're wondering 'is decaf tea a diuretic?'we can assure you that our decaf black tea is not a diuretic because the caffeine has been removed. So, we all know what this means... we can finally enjoy a proper builder’s brew before bed!
What's a tea temple?!That sounds a bit pretentious, just call it a bag...If you’re confused about why we call our decaffeinated tea bags tea temples – it’s simple: their pyramid shape lets the whole tea leaves steep freely - helping to give even more flavour to your cuppa. We only use the best quality teas and tisanes for you to enjoy. We think authentic tea so good deserves a little praise, right?Besides, tea temple sounds far more fitting for our decaffeinated tea leaves, than simply decaf tea bags.A premium tea bag for premium tea.Trust us, we're teapigs: no airs, no graces, just fine tea.
A cuppa with all the taste of our usual black tea, but none of the caffeine?Magic, right?Well, slightly more sciency than magic as we use the CO2 method to naturally decaffeinate our black tea leaves. But either way, we're thrilled to finally be able to enjoy a proper builder's brew before bed!We make a donation to the Point Foundation with every pack of decaf English breakfast tea we sell.We also match donations our customers make on our website and run regular fundraising efforts. Thanks to all your contributions - we've raised over £600,000 together and we're keen to do more!
All natural.No nasties.BIG leaf = BIG flavour.Simple!
You’ll find teapigs in lovely cafes and delis, food halls and grocers, hotels and restaurants up and down the UK- and in over 40 countries too!Our teas have won over 157 Great Taste Awards, we’ve been voted best brand 7 times by independent retailers.
