The digital Goldchamp GC-38A voltage tester is used to test AC/DC currents. Furthermore, a rotary field test, a single-pole voltage test and a continuity test can be carried out. In order to work properly even in the dark, a torch has been integrated into the current meter for illuminating the measuring point. The voltage meter is used in areas of electrical engineering, industry, maintenance and photovoltaics.
In the construction of the digital voltage tester high-quality components have been installed, so that this meter delivers precise readings even after very frequent measurements. Thanks to the compact dimensions and the low net weight, the two-pole voltage tester can be inserted into any bag. The voltage tester is powered by two 1.5 V batteries. If the device is not used for a long time, it switches off automatically and thus protects the batteries. Thanks to the protection class IP64, the technology is protected against splashes of water and dust.
Precautions
Never take measurements on a circuit where the electrical potential exceeds 690V. (When the measured voltage exceeds 690V, all voltage LED indicators will light up. Do not try to take measurements in the presence of flammable gases, as the use of this. Never try to use the instrument when the surface of your hands is wet. (Do not use in the rain. Keep your hands and fingers behind the barriers during measurements. Never unlock and open the battery compartment during measurement. Check proper operation at a known source before taking action due to display. Never try to perform measurements under abnormal conditions, such as B. in the case of a broken housing or exposed metal parts on the instrument or on the test probes. Do not make any changes to the instrument. Be extremely careful when the circuit LED flashes or lights up.
