A premium selection derived from the acorns of Spanish oak trees. During the summer and autumn months, these acorns release a sweet nectar, expertly collected by bees to craft this very dark, less-sweet and robust honey. 

The oak tree, referred to as "Roble" in Spanish, is a notable deciduous tree that belongs to the beech family, a surprising association. Remarkably, some oak trees can thrive for over 1000 years! Bees are especially drawn to the sap derived from the tree's acorns. 

Antimicrobial properties : 

This honey has been tested and certified by Minerva Scientific to have a TA 15+ (Total Activity) rating, which refers to its beneficial, antimicrobial (bacteria-fighting) properties. The higher the TA, the greater the potential health benefits.
