Turn it in the hand, and you’ll notice deeper indigo tones, violet flashes near the rear, and a base with cool turquoise edging. All of this sits against a backdrop of ochre and purple-stained matrix, giving it a dramatic contrast you rarely see in miniatures.
Despite the complexity, it displays cleanly — stable on its side, with enough openness to let light pass through and reveal the zoning inside. There’s no damage to the main crystal faces, and no need for a stand. It’s a brilliant choice for collectors who value internal detail and mineral contrast over perfect symmetry.
