Using processes developed over hundreds of years we use Chamois Leather to dry and shine polished surfaces, glass, mirrors, chrome and car bodywork.Genuine Chamois have unique properties that dry and shine surfaces courtesy of the traditional oil tannage process which forms soaps within the sheepskin.The sheepskin itself is unique, with a naturally open fibre structure that is not found in any other skins.Imitators often use deer or goat skin, these cloths look similar, but fail to replicate the unique properties of a genuine sheepskin chamois leather.Finally, the unique tanning process uses Cod fish oil which is fixed into the sheepskin making it soft and durable.
