The FireAngel Toast Proof Smoke Alarm has been designed to make protecting your home simple, with an easy installation process, fewer false alarms, and rigorous testing.
•OPTICAL SENSOR: The SB1-R’s optical smoke sensing chamber works by 'seeing' smoke as it enters the alarm, perfect for slow burning fires with thick white smoke.
•TOAST PROOF: The high performance optical sensor ensures the SB1-R is less prone to false alarms from cooking fumes so you can enjoy your breakfast in peace. •1-YEAR BATTERY: Each battery-powered smoke alarm includes a 1-year replaceable battery. When the battery is low, the device will alert you with a 'chirp' and the red LED will flash once every 32 seconds. Early Warning System
•Smoke alarms provide an essential early warning system for potential house fires.
•We recommend smoke alarms are fitted in all rooms where the temperature is between 0°C (32°F) and 40°C (104°F).
•The SB1-R alarm holds both CE & UKCA marks and is certified to BS EN14604:2005.
Sleep Easy
•To test your device, press the large test button for 5 seconds. A loud, high-pitched sound will verify that the alarm is functioning correctly.
•In a known false alarm, press and hold the test button for 5 seconds to temporarily silence the alarm for 8 minutes.
Safety Guidelines
•The SB1-R is suitable for the landing, hallway, bedroom, living room and dining room.
•Smoke alarms should be sited at least 300 mm from light fittings and walls, and ideally as central as possible in the room.
•If you position your smoke alarm on the wall, the top of the detection element must be between 150 and 300 mm below the ceiling and at least 300 mm from any neighbouring wall.

•1 YEAR BATTERY: Each battery operated smoke alarm comes with a 1 year, replaceable 9V battery. When the smoke alarm battery is low, the device will 'chirp' and the red LED will flash once every 32 seconds. Replace the battery ASAP.
•EASY INSTALLATION: Each FireAngel smoke alarm comes with a removable base plate. Attach the base plate to the ceiling using the screws provided. After inserting the battery, push and twist the alarm clockwise onto the base plate.
•SAFETY ASSURED: The SB1-R alarm holds both CE and UKCA marks and has been certified to BS EN14604:2005. Suitable for domestic properties including mobile homes and caravans. Not suitable for commercial properties.
