Product description
First thing's first- you are amazing. Just the fact that you've picked this book up and made it onto the second page shows that you are trying to take care of yourself. Self-love can be damn hard to stick with, especially when our lives are full of expectations we feel we can't live up to.
A little bit about myself. I've struggled with anxiety and depression for as long as I can remember. Constantly battling with how I think I should be and how I actually am. Always feeling as though I am not good enough, not smart enough, not strong enough, not brave enough. However, in 2015 I also developed Myalgic Encephalopathy (CFS/ME), which, let me tell you, absolutely sucks! My expectations of myself are ridiculous and completely irrational and I know that and yet, I still have them. I've recently also started the process of being diagnosed with ADHD- I'm sure you can work out what my mind is like! On top of being an over-thinker, I'm also a teacher and so was always on the hunt for something to quieten down my mind.
I designed the Over-thinker's journal in 2021 as I got fed up of not being able to find a journal that worked for my chaotic mind. The original journal includes mental health and habit trackers, daily pages, positive phrases and distraction pages for when things get particularly rough. After a lot of positive feedback from people who bought the Over-thinker's journal, I decided to create the Over-thinker's Busy Book. This is chock full of activities and challenges to give your ever moving mind something clear to focus on.
At first glance, this book contains a real miss-match of activities, but that's kind of the whole point. I want to give you as many different ways as possible to occupy your brain You never know, you might just discover a new favourite hobby!
Just like with the Over-thinker's journal, this is YOUR book- it's up to you how you use it. Use what you want, leave what you don't want. Write in pretty colours, use the same blunt pencil. Make every page gorgeous, scribble notes all over the place.
