Alfalfa, otherwise known as Lucerne, is nutrient-dense and irresistibly tasty! We are one of the very few farms in the UK to grow and dry their own Alfalfa. Usually, it is imported from abroad, making our Alfalfa a more environmentally friendly option for British pet owners. Great pride is taken in producing this high-quality hay, which is packed full of protein.

Just like us humans, small pets require different nutrients throughout their life stages. Alfalfa is packed full of essential proteins for growing or underweight small pets. This makes it perfect for pets up to 7 months, pregnant/feeding small pets, or older animals due to its fantastic protein and calcium levels.

We recommend speaking to your vet before feeding your pet large amounts of Alfalfa as its high calcium and protein levels which can be fattening or cause issues to healthy adult pets if they are fed too much.
