•Is this quite strong in the wind?We have open fields behind the garden and can get quite windy.Would definitely recommend the base weights for windy conditions.With these in place, it is much more sturdy.The opening in the top also prevents any lift in prevailing winds.I’ve found this to work well

•Is the parasol shower proof?Haven’t had it open in the rain, but when it has got wet the water beads off the surface.Definitely has some sort of coating.

•Does this tilt at an angle?Yes.The top part - the parasol - tilts and the base swivels 360 deg.So you can achieve many angles / positions.Well-made.We are impressed!
