The belt is designed to attach an existing coiled ankle leash to the waist, providing a secure and comfortable way to keep the leash attached to the board. The belt is suitable for waists measuring 85cm - 125cm (34" - 50"), making it a versatile option for a wide range of users.
Your normal paddleboard leash is quickly converted into a quick release safety system by attaching your ankle cuff to the strap at the rear of our waist belt.
One of the key benefits of using a Scrabo Quick Release Safety Waist Belt is the ability to quickly and easily detach the leash from your waist in the event of an emergency. A high visibility ball is attached to the buckle on the belt, which with one tug will swiftly release you from your board.
As well as being a potentially life saving device, the waist leash will also keep the coiled line out of the water and off your board. This will allow advanced manoeuvres such as board walking and step back turns to be performed with greater ease.
