Product description
Suitable for Freshwater and Marine Aquariums
Double-layer isolation design and right size to put your recently hatched guppy fry in to keep them safe.
The breeder box hatchery is simple and easy to set up. The top and bottom sections can easily be taken apart and simply click back together which makes cleaning and maintaining the hatchery very easy.
You can remove the middle 'W' shaped section if you don't want to use it, so the fries have more space to swim about.
These breeding traps are great for fish to breed in, isolating aggressive (e.g betta splendens) or weak/injured fish or for pregnant live bearers to give birth to their baby fry in.
There is a compartment for the adults and a removable shelf which has holes that allow the babies to fall through into the bottom of the trap.
Also great for sick or injured fish as you can keep them in there until they have recovered.
The hatchery has side and bottom vents to allow optimum water flow. Warm, oxygenated water from main aquarium enters the breeding box through the slatted sides.
Comes with lid and partition shelf, and also includes suckers for attaching to the inside of the aquarium if you do not want the trap to be free-floating.
•Designed for optimum water flow
•Partition to prevent new born fish being eaten
•Lid to stop fish jumping out
•Suction cups to attach to sides of the tank
•Useful as isolation tank
