This fantastic Rotating Soldering Block on Platform is an ideal accessory for your workshop, offering the ability to rotate your work 360°. This metal platform supplied with a separate ceramic plate manoeuvres using ball bearings, providing a smooth and consistent turn each time allowing even heat distribution when heating and soldering.
The ceramic plate is supplied loose so can be used both on and off the platform and measures approx. 155mm x 155mm x 16mm.
The steel base is light weight yet solid and measures approx. 160mm x 160mm x 17mm. The metal support which holds the ceramic plate is directly attached to the base and is elevated approx. 10mm, allowing good clearance. Total height (with ceramic plate) is approx. 42mm. The ceramic plate will withstand temperatures of up to 1200°C.
