•When can i sow grass seed?For best results spring and autumn are ideal. Grass seed can be used in summer also providing it is kept well watered.
•How much seed do i need?2kg packs will cover 30-100m². 5kg packs cover 70-200m². (the lower range is for new lawns, middle for overseeding, upper for patch repairs).
•What is the application rate?20-50 grams per square meter overseeding. 50-70 grams per square meter new lawns.
•Can i store unused grass seeds?Yes - grass seed can be stored in dry conditions for several seasons. Each year it will use a small percentage of it's germination rate but many customers keep some seed back in storage for any repairs in the season or next season.
