The Eheim Classic External Filters feature carefully tailored external canister filters, equipped with high quality components with an excellent price-performance ratio. As well as the filter they include all of the required media and associated components.
The Eheim Classic External Filters are the tried and tested external canister filter for aquariums up to 250 litres (2213), up to 350 litres (2215) up to 600 litres (2217).
Eheims external filters come complete with a 2 year guarantee.
At a glance:
•The whole filter volume is used, so that a very high filtration efficiency is maintained
•The ceramic spindle guarantees continuous quiet smooth running and resistance to salt water
•The connection between pump head and canister is secured with easy to use clips and a high quality silicon sealing ring making opening and closing easy and safe

However Eheim recommends layering with Eheim filter media. Tailored filter media sets are available for every model. The pump head and filter canister are connected simply and very functionally with functional clips and a high quality silicone o-ring.
