Rotala rotundifolia, commonly called Roundleaf toothcup, is a species of live aquatic plant from South East Asia that is easily identifiable for its round leaves. unlike other rotala species, it is relatively undemanding although it needs good light to produce the red leaves that give it a distinctive appearance. The thin leaves form side shoots willingly becoming compact and bushy, so they must be pruned frequently if you don't want your Rotala rotundifolia to get out of control.
