Product description
Simple and convenient breakout board for the CD74HC4067 16 channel analogue/digital multiplexer/demultiplexer. The chip works like a rotary switch and routes the common pin to one of the 16 channel pins.
Compatible with both digital and analogue signals
Bi-directional design; connections function in either direction
Controlling the chip is via the chip address pins; connect 4 digital outputs to the S0-S3 pins, and send it the binary address of the channel you want
Allows you to connect up to 16 sensors using only 5 pins
Supports voltages between ground and VCC
Low "on" resistance and "off" leakage
The Enable pin is also broken out; when driven high this will completely disconnect the common pin (all switches 'off')
