Glass Terrarium 45x45x90cm

The Exo Terra Glass Terrarium 45x45x90cm is ideal for arboreal species, mainly Chameleons or Crested geckos. The glass housing provides clear viewing, retains humidity well and - as a bonus - is very easy to clean. The mesh top allows UVB and infra-red penetration and is easy to remove for easy access while decorating or cleaning.

In the back of the screen cover are five closable wire or tube inlets on both sides to install reptile heat rocks, reptile waterfalls, sensors, etc. inside the terrarium. The extra-high, fixed front window is ideal for thick layers of reptile substrates. And because it's high, you won't have to worry about gravel falling out when you open the doors!

The terrarium includes a unique root background - an easy-to-cut background with an incredible natural look. It creates a multi-dimensional habitat ideal for climbing reptiles, or it can be simply used to decorate the natural terrarium. The bottom plate of the terrarium is raised to mount a substrate heater to heat a part of the extended ground surface. The extra high fixed front window is ideal for thick layers of substrates (great for burrowing reptiles), or to be used as an aquatic paradise, in the form of a paludarium. The Exo Terra Paludarium is a semi-aquatic terrarium habitat that replicates a rainforest, swamp or stream and can harbour aquatic as well as terrestrial animal and plant species. The word paludarium originates from the Latin word palus, which means swamp.
