TBM950 - TOWBALL MOUNT suitable for winches up to 9500lb

Tow ball mounting system is designed to make winches from 1000lb to 9500lb ultra-portable.

The main application of the mount is to allow a winch to be mounted to the tow ball of a vehicle, but more recently we have seen them used in any situation where a tow ball can be installed.  The uses for this mount are endless and we often hear of new application being created by our inventive customers.

You could mount a tow ball on your trailer to make your winch removable for extra security.  You could even mount multiple tow balls to allow different winch positions.  Or why not mount a tow ball to the floor of your garage to pull in cars, trailers, caravans, boats etc.

The beauty of this system is that all you need is a tow ball, then a single winch can be used in any location where power is available.

Designed to be fitted to any standard 50mm tow ball, it is built around a cast stainless steel spring loaded clamp which locks to the ball.  The main plate is then dropped over the clamp and secured in place with a pin.  As the clamp is spring loaded this allows the mount to swivel on the tow ball making a straight line pull easier and allowing the winch rope to layer evenly.

The Large Bak Rak mount is manufactured from 5mm Steel and suits most winches. In most cases the mountings in the plate are already drilled for winch mounting and this mount is pre drilled with 254mmx  114.3mm hole centres - which suits the majority of winches.  The fairlead opening is pre drilled with standard 255mm hole centres for a Roller or Hawse Fairlead.
