•Clean the Surface: Ensure the surface where you'll be applying the tiles (e.g., shower wall or floor) is clean, dry, and free from dirt, dust, grease, or soap residue. Wipe it down with a damp cloth and let it dry.

•Smooth the Surface: If necessary, use a sandpaper or smoothing tool to ensure the surface is even and free of imperfections.

•Follow Manufacturer Instructions: Check the adhesive packaging to see if it requires mixing. Some adhesives come ready-to-use, while others may need water or other agents to be mixed in. If mixing, add the specified amount of water gradually and stir until you get a smooth, workable consistency.

•Use a Notched Trowel: Scoop a small amount of the adhesive with a notched trowel and apply it to the surface where you want to place the tile. Hold the trowel at a 45-degree angle to ensure an even application.

•Spread Evenly: Spread the adhesive in a thin, even layer, working in small sections to avoid the adhesive drying out before you place the tiles.

•Press Tiles Firmly: Take your tiles and press them gently into the adhesive. Ensure that each tile is aligned properly and leveled.

•Leave Gaps for Grout: Leave space between the tiles according to the width you want for grout lines. Use tile spacers if necessary.

•Level Tiles: As you work, regularly check that your tiles are level and aligned properly. Adjust any tiles that may have shifted while you were applying others.

•Allow to Dry: After all tiles are placed, let the adhesive set and dry for the recommended time (usually 24 hours) before moving on to grouting. Refer to the manufacturer’s instructions for specific drying times.

•Apply Grout: Once the adhesive is dry, remove the tile spacers and apply grout into the gaps between the tiles using a rubber float. Work the grout into the joints, ensuring no air pockets or gaps are left.

•Clean Excess Grout: Wipe off any excess grout with a damp sponge and smooth the grout lines.

•Clean Tiles: After the grout has dried, wipe the surface of the tiles with a clean, damp cloth to remove any grout haze. Let the grout cure fully before using the shower.
