AIRmesh Upper
The upper of the Mizuno Wave Aero 19 Racing Shoes is constructed with AIRmesh which will provide you with maximum breathability and airflow throughout the shoe, keeping your feet feeling cool and dry at all times. Additionally, the Aero is equipped with a new upper design which holds the foot for a more precise midfoot fit, keeping you feeling secure and comfortable at all times. The Aero uses DynamotionFit which has been designed to engineer shoes that work with the foot's gait cycle. As the foot bends, twists and stretches, DynamotionFit follow suits by mimicking the movements. Synthetic overlays are used on top of the AIRmesh which helps provide a supportive, yet durable fit, while the padded tongue and collar ensure step-in comfort.

SmoothRide Outsole
By using a combination of midsole and outsole technologies, the sole provides a fluid, rocking-chair-like transition. As the foot hits the ground, SmoothRide kicks in with heel flex grooves promoting a natural back-to-front movement, which creates the rocking-chair effect. The heel of the sole uses X10 carbon rubber which allows for longer wear in high impact areas while providing maximum traction at heel strike.
