•For Volkswagen (V.A.G) vehicles, the device can not only read and erase codes for the engine, ABS, transmission, SAS (not all cars), ESP, TPMS, and other systems, but also perform functions such as oil reset, brake pad reset, and throttle position adaptation.

•Transmission SystemSigns of transmission problems include slipping, rough shifting, delayed engagement, fluid leaks, or a transmission warning light. The VD500 performs diagnostics to pinpoint the problem, helping you identify the necessary repairs.

•SAS (Steering Angle Sensor)The steering angle sensor (SAS) is essential for the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system, as it measures the steering wheel's position and turning rate. If the SAS warning light is on, the VD500 can read error codes and recalibrate the sensor once the issue is resolved, ensuring driver and passenger safety.

•Battery SystemA battery warning light indicates a charging problem, commonly caused by a broken alternator belt. The VD500 can read fault codes related to the battery and clear them once the issue is resolved.

•Immobilizer SystemThe immobilizer warning light turns on if the anti-theft system fails to recognize the car key, detects an incorrect key, or identifies a low battery in the key. This may result in the engine starting and stopping immediately or failing to crank. The VD500 reads error codes linked to these symptoms, assisting in resolving the issue.
