Best smelling and best quality putty I've use, a little goes a long way and will definitely be placing another order soon 🥰
Diamond painting putty is an alternative to the traditional wax that comes with your kits. You can use it in your single and multi-placers, and it typically lasts much longer than wax does before you need to change it. These putties are scented and coloured too, making them a fun addition to your diamond painting accessories.
This scent is called A Thousand Wishes, and it smells of quince, starfruit and sparkling wine combined with floral notes of fresh peonies, rose and freesia on a base of sweet sugar, amber, sandalwood and musk.
You will receive 4-5g of putty per pack.
You can load the putty into your placers in a very similar way to how you would load pink wax – press your placer into the putty and wiggle it around to ensure the placer is filled and to ‘cut’ the putty to the shape of your placer, then gently peel the rest of the putty away from the edges. As you start to use it, you may get some overspill, which you can either pinch off or push back into the placer until the putty settles.
This putty works for ABs and other special drills! I recommend waiting until you’ve used it on normal drills for a little while first, but then you should be able to use it as normal. NB – a lighter touch works well for placing special drills with putty.
This putty should last considerably longer in your pen than standard pink wax before you have to reload it. When the putty in your multi placer stops picking drills up quite as well, you can refresh it a little by dragging your finger along the exposed putty in your placer to disrupt the ridges that will have formed, so that some fresh putty will come to the surface.
The putty is usually easy to load in all kinds of single and multi-placers, but if it feels a bit stiff, you can tear a piece off and roll it between your hands to warm it, then flatten it out before loading the pen as normal. This may be more likely to happen in colder temperatures.
Keep the putty sealed in the foil pack between uses to ensure it stays fresh.
