This design is inspired by the extremely rare third shirt as worn by Ronaldo in his first season at the club when they pushed Juventus close for the Serie A title, and in the 1998 UEFA Cup final where the side defeated Lazio 3-0 thanks to goals from Zamorano, Zanetti and Ronaldo. Inter famously overturned a 2-1 defeat at the San Siro by winning 3-1 in Lyon to progress to the next round and went all the way to glory in the Final beating Serie A rivals Lazio with the '97 Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldo in sensational form in his debut season for the Nerazzurri.
