Definitely not the easiest for beginners, chenille yarn is lovely but tricky to work with. There is plenty of yarn to practice with though. The pattern is accessed online through QR code provided so you’ll either need a printer or just view from a device. Super cute, just need to finish the top 🥰🫐

Super cute but not suitable for a complete beginner, you need some knowledge of stitches and how to read a pattern. The yarn, as lovely as it is, also makes it very difficult to see the stitches which as a beginner makes it even more difficult! I’ll persevere as it’s a gorgeous kit.

Great kit, but not beginner friendly as suggested. Cannot find videos to help online as suggested. Instructions are clear but equally hard to understand as a beginner due to the abbreviations and having to keep scrolling between online pages to understand abbreviations. Wasted for me as too complex

Loved this, I purchased as my first wee project i struggled with the instructions but when I purchased i thought with the description that video tutorials would be available for this piece which it wasn't, however I completed it and I think I did ok for crotcheting for 1 week lol x

Ordered these as they were advertised as beginner friendly and are definitely not. Instructions hard to understand due to the abbreviations and having to scroll up and down to work out what it all means. Would be better having paper. Yarn quality means you can’t see your stitches. Wouldn’t recommend

Trying to be healthy with more fruit and veg? Well, look no further and grab a piece of our 5-a-day collection! Choose from six fruit and veg kits.
Are you a complete crochet beginner?
We would recommend starting on Joss the Egg, or Earl the Chick, as they are the most beginner friendly out of the collection. Please note, our kits do NOT include how-to crochet instructions, but we do include enough yarn to practise with before you start your project. If you are a complete crochet newbie, pair with our Crochet Made Easy Book and practise the basic stitches before starting on your kit. We also have an online stitch library on our site, with left and right handed tutorials if you get stuck.
So, I hear you ask - what do you need to get started and make your own Amigurumi plushie? It couldn't be easier! All of our situation kits come with everything required, including chenille yarn, stuffing, safety eyes, a crochet hook, and a collectable stitch marker, plus a darning needle and a label to finish up. We've even provided a handy tote bag to carry them on-the-go.
We've included plenty of practice yarn in our kits as well. Test out your stitches before you start, and if you have any leftovers, why not make some accessories for your new friend? The pattern for each kit can be found by scanning the postcard included in your kit; simply type in the password and away you go! If you find yourself in need of a bit more support, the link provided will also take you to our handy stitch library, for more explanation, or simply to refresh your memory (for left and right-handers too.
