Pretty Dragonfly Wing Earrings
These Pretty earrings feature my handmade shimmering Dragonfly wings in a beautiful shimmery iridescent gold colour with flashes of pink and green
The earrings are finished with a Czech crystal rondelle bead for extra sparkle
Would make a lovely addition to a special outfit or as a present for a friend
The earrings are presented in a hand stamped box made of recycled card & filled with green shredded paper with a print out on parchment paper of the Dragonflies link with Intuition which has been curled up in a scroll & tied with ribbon

Being a creature of water and wind the Dragonfly symbolically helps us to deal with our thoughts, dreams and intuition, helping to bring our awareness to the present moment, teaching us that life is short and to live it to the fullest we can.
The earrings are on antique bronze earwires (made from metal alloy under the bronze coating and are both Lead and Nickel free)
Approx wing length 4cm
The wings are made by a process of layering up heat bondable plastic film which is composed of more than 90% post industrial waste making it a more eco friendly type of plastic, the film contains no harmful ingredients, no heavy metals, and is formaldehyde free.
The plastic film is very thin and although I use up to 6 layers in each piece please be aware that it still makes for a thin flexible item, the effect is delicate and slightly transparent like real wings!
I have used 2 wings on each earring and connected them with a bronze eyelet
