I ordered 3 books, they were so tightly shoved in the pack, it busted a little and due to the lack of care taken this book incurred damage, resulting in the cover being bent at the edge which will only get worse as it will continue to fray.

"A gothic, darkly alluring tale that will leave readers spellbound"—Dua Lipa, Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter
For fans of MEXICAN GOTHIC and HEREDITARY, Yiğit Turhan’s THEIR MONSTROUS HEARTS tells the story of a struggling writer who thinks his troubles are over when he inherits his estranged grandmother’s villa and her famed butterfly collection, only to realize the crumbling estate is hiding darker secrets than he ever could have imagined.
Riccardo is a struggling author with bills to pay and a manuscript to deliver to his agent, but a paralyzing bout of writer’s block threatens to derail his career. Then a childhood acquaintance shows up at his apartment with news his estranged grandmother, Perihan, has died and left him her villa in Milan. Riccardo jumps at the chance to clear his head in a new city and secure his finances by selling her famously exquisite butterfly collection. But when Riccardo arrives, he finds Perihan’s beautiful villa marred by a rotting greenhouse, his grandmother’s eccentric group of nosy friends, and her once lovely butterflies pinned to the walls. Then there’s the diary Perihan left that promises answers about her dark past.
Soon, childhood memories stalk Riccardo through the villa, and he's haunted by the spirit of the enigmatic woman who once ruled Milan's high society as he uncovers her secrets. Riccardo is determined to discover the mystery that haunts the villa, but Perihan may have one more surprise up her sleeve—one that might pin Riccardo like the specimens he's searching for.
