And our insistence on manufacturing all our stationery right here in the UK.It all started in 1837 - From Victorian ledgers to 21st century stationery.The oldest surviving stationery catalogue we have in our archives, dated 1928, lists a Silvine exercise book and a drawing book. Amazingly, we still make both these products, although they look rather different today.From the 1960s on, generations grew up using our iconic red Silvine exercise books with the laurel wreath logo on the cover.
