Hydro Rokz 8-16 mm
Hydro Rokz are made from pure, salt-free baked clay, with a very low concentration of elements, making them an ideal substrate for hydroponic systems. The quality of these clay pebbles is primarily influenced by their pH level.
Clay pebbles are versatile and used in various growing methods. They can be placed at the bottom of a flowerpot when combined with a soil substrate to improve drainage. Hydro Rokz also serve as an additional drainage layer.
When mixed with a growing medium, Hydro Rokz create a lighter, more aerated environment, allowing plant roots to expand and grow more freely. Another popular method is growing plants directly on Hydro Rokz, often with an oxygen pump. This setup ensures that the roots remain submerged in nutrient-rich water while the oxygen pump provides vital oxygen to the roots.
