Grimm's Building Set Wooden Train

This colourful wooden Grimm’s train set is made up of two main train parts in solid natural wood finish with two dowels each for slotting on wooden blocks and freight. This wooden train set will run on all standard wooden train track or on flat surfaces. This wooden toy comes with 17 individual parts in different shades of blue, yellow, green and purple that slip over the dowels to create an engine and cargo or passenger carriages. Each train set includes a Grimm’s Friend driver, five hollow boxes of different shapes to hold freight, solid blocks to slot onto the carriages a wooden heart block and two small wooden balls. The train carriages simply link together using the string provided – loop the string over the dowels and fix with the base plates. This is a traditional wooden toy that children will enjoy sitting down with on the floor for hours of quiet play. It is ethically made from solid wood and finished in water-based colour stain which retains the natural features of the wood. FSC certified European wood.

Due to its customisable design, children can decide which carriages, if any, to tow along and the Friend can be played with independently too.
