Sometimes good sometimes bad but always enchanting and slightly magical, Mermaids must be the most popular figures in aquatic folklore, known in virtually every country that boarders the Ocean.
The first written mermaid stories appeared thousands of years ago in ancient Assyria. In the age of exploration, seeing a mermaid was an almost essential part of travelling to new worlds; Christopher Columbus reported seeing three of them off Haiti.
Wearing a piece of Adrian Ashley’s jewellery identifies you as someone who loves the ocean or the great outdoors. My silver jewellery is made from solid Sterling Silver (silver with a purity of at least 92.5%). It does not contain any lead or other harmful materials.
