After ducting, you can expect it to achieve an extraction rate of up to 600m/hr – which is enough for a 5m x 5m kitchen with intesive hob use.
To work out your required extraction rate, work out the volume in m by multiplying the length, width and height together. For intensive hob usage, multiply this by 10 and that the max volume of air to be movedper hour by your hood.
