Great plant , poorly handled in transit . Put outside , but under cover , for one night and the plant was not garden ready . It wilted and was caught by cold .

A little soil shed and a couple of lightly damaged leaves, but a brilliantly healthy, bigger than expected, plant arrived. A little feed in water and it's recovering in the (sort of) sun.
For a medium-sized shrub that will bring architectural interest to your garden all year long, Fatsia japonica is just the ticket! A spectacular evergreen shrub that produces big and serrated, glossy green leaves, giving interest across the seasons.
Also known as the Japanese Aralia, mature Fatsia plants produce exotic spikes of creamy white flowers, followed by attractive deep purple, almost black berries. Definitely a plant for novice gardeners and seasoned pros alike, Fatsia japonica will grow well in any garden and is a great plant for difficult shady areas where other plants struggle, in fact they perform best in light or dappled shade, making a glossy backdrop for other plants with amazing palm-like leaves.
Holder of a much deserved RHS Award of Garden Merit, plants need very little attention to produce amazing results from a plant that has been rigorously trialled and proven to excel. Fatsia is also a great plant to complement a large decorative pot on the patio, where its architectural shape can make a dramatic, tropical feature.
Supplied as an established plant in a 12cm pot, ready for planting straight out into the garden.
